About Us
Who are Castle Day Nurseries?
The staff at Castle Day Nursery have a wealth and breadth of experience, backed by variety of qualifications in the childcare field, including special needs.
Some staff have over 15 years experience of working with young children and all work as a team under the guidance of the Manager.
All staff have Safeguarding training, staff also regularly review and assess the need to update their skills and attend training sessions as appropriate. We work closely with Early Years Learning Alliance, Speech and Language Team and other professionals.
Settling in...
We would advise you to visit the Pre-school prior to your child’s start date to enable you both to meet the staff and ask any questions. You will also be able to experience the daily routine, including registration time, free play, curriculum activities and snack time.
In order to feel free to explore and experiment with all kinds of materials, including messy ones, it is best to send children in clothes which are easy to wash and not too new. Simple clothing which they can handle themselves will enable them to get to the toilet easily and independently and the same with outdoor clothes, simple fastenings will progress their independence and speed-up going outside preparation.
In any event that Castle Day Nursery feels that a child is not ready for pre-school, we would advice the parents to review their admission date.
